Loop Program is designed to introduce the concept of sustainability which emphasise on balancing social, economic and environmental aspects in society and generation equality. Loop program 滲入了可持續發展的概念。取得經濟,社會,環境三者的平衡才是發展良方,然而現實社會中“環境”這一部分往往是被忽略的。Loop program中課堂內傳授知識理論,再結合課室外的實踐活動如有機耕種,魚菜共生等。課堂中以活動體驗,培養學生的環境責任感,並由此改善他們的生活習慣。

Fair trade is one of the main modules in loop program. The module enables students to understand the inter-generation equality by striking a balance between economic and social benefits. Students engage in a non- fair trade agricultural system through a role-playing game. In the game, they encounter fluctuated market price, imbalance supply and demand and even climate disaster.

Participating in the fair-trade game, they experience the pressure and challenges of being a poor farmer and ultimately understand the importance of fair trade and sustainable development in society. During lesson, students have a negotiation section and an E-trading platform records the transaction of trade.

公平貿易是Loop program中重要的一部分。課程以網頁遊戲配合,學生透過模擬的貿易系統了解經濟效益與社會效益之間的平衡。在模擬系統中學生扮演經濟體系中不同的角色,並於課堂中與其他角色交流協商。

遊戲以學生為主導,他們將操控著農業的生產,貨物的價格等因素;但同時他們亦會遇到飄忽浮動的價格,失衡的供求,甚至各種天災人禍的挑戰。通過經歷遊戲,感受作為一個貧窮農民於生活中要面對的種種壓力,挑戰與無奈。最終理解到公平貿易和可持續發展的重要性。

This is an interactive platform for students to communicate, upload photos of the organic farm and check the real-time environmental factors online.

Environmental Club是一個網上互動平台,學上可以於此平台自由溝通,上傳及閱覽與環境相關的資訊。

課程提供無線傳感器,讓學生監控有機農莊的三大環境條件包括:光,溫度,濕度。學生從數據,學習到對種植的有利的環境條件,讓他們從中學習科學知識。

Organic farming allows to students to grow crops by themselves using an organic way.

有機耕作,讓學生親手耕種屬於他們的農作物,並於收成後與師友、家人分享

This is a creative way of instilling good environmental behaviour through fun and continuous environmental challenge. Students are challenged over a period of 21 days to conduct good environmental behaviour such as zero food waste challenge, 5 minute shower and turn off all appliances. A designed handbook is used as a tool to keep track of the student progress.
